Until the end of June, Museum JAN and Museum MORE | Ruurlo Castle are showcasing the revolutionary creations of Dutch fashion icon Fong-Leng. The exhibition at Ruurlo Castle focuses primarily on the roaring 1970s and Fong-Leng's relationship with “living work of art” Mathilde Willink. In addition to a selection of unique, sculptural garments, MORE also displays denim designs that Fong-Leng created for Levi's. New works by fashion photographer Ferry van der Nat also show how contemporary Fong-Leng's fashion still is.

This becomes immediately clear in the music salon of Museum STAAL. Here stands a table as it must have looked in the 19th century, beautifully set. Imagine: landowner A.C.W. Staring, his wife and eight children sitting here for a festive meal. Walking past the carefully placed glasses and plates, you imagine yourself in a forgotten world, carefully brought back to life.
