Next to reception is our small but nice park shop. The park shop has a nice chilled drink, groceries, games and more. Groceries can then be paid for at the self-scan.

What a better way to explore De Achterhoek than by bike? We have a wide range of e-bikes, (children's) bikes. Ask at reception for availability and rates.

When hiring a bike for a day, it must be returned by the times listed below:
Monday: 7.00 pm
Tuesday: 5.00 pm
Wednesday: 5.00 pm
Thursday: 5.00 pm
Friday: 7.00 pm
Saturday: 4.00 pm
Sunday: 4.00 pm

Take a dip in the beautiful recreational pond at EuroParcs De Achterhoek. Around the swimming pond you will find sandy beaches and lawns where you can roll out your towel. Not only can you swim, you can also sail in a rubber boat. You can also fish at the special fishing spots. Dogs are not allowed in the recreational lake.

At EuroParcs De Achterhoek you will find a beautiful animal pasture. Check out our sweet rabbits and goats.

The animals may not be fed and the animal pasture may not be entered.

No fishing pass is required to fish at EuroParcs De Achterhoek. We do not rent or sell fishing equipment, you must bring your own.

Enjoying a holiday together with your dog? At EuroParcs De Achterhoek, your loyal four-legged friend is more than welcome. While you relax in the beautiful Achterhoek countryside, your dog can enjoy the nature, peace and many walking opportunities nearby.

A dog leash policy applies throughout the park to keep the environment pleasant and safe for everyone. Waste bins are available throughout the park to help clean up after your dog and keep the surroundings clean and enjoyable.

The area around De Achterhoek is perfect for long walks with your dog. You will find various walking routes, forests and nature areas nearby where you and your leashed dog can enjoy peace, space and the outdoors together.

Good to know:

• Pets are allowed in selected accommodations
• Dogs must be kept on a leash in the park
• Dogs are welcome on many walking routes and in nature areas nearby
• Waste bins for dog waste are available throughout the park
• There is no crate or dog shower available at the accommodation

In short: a relaxing holiday where both you and your dog can enjoy nature, walking routes and the beautiful surroundings of the Achterhoek together.

The use of fireworks is not permitted within our park. For many years, we have consciously chosen to maintain a completely firework-free New Year's celebration, allowing our guests, children and pets to enjoy peace and relaxation.

Due to changes in Dutch legislation, a ban on consumer fireworks will apply from New Year's Eve 2026/2027 onwards. Only Category F1 fireworks (such as sparklers and novelty fireworks) will remain permitted for private use. Professional fireworks displays may still take place where the required permits have been granted.

Please note that our firework-free policy applies only within the boundaries of the park. Outside the park, depending on local regulations and circumstances, professional fireworks displays may take place and permitted F1 fireworks may be used.

Important: No fireworks are permitted within the park, including Category F1 fireworks.

On and around the park there is something for everyone to do. 

Swing, clamber and slide. Both big and small children have a great time on the playground equipment scattered throughout the park.

You can enjoy pizza, fries, burgers, or ice cream with us. Order online for takeaway or enjoy your meal on our cozy terrace, where children can play safely and freely.

Come and play on our multi-purpose sports field! There’s a tennis court, and on the sports field you’ll find a football pitch, a basketball court and interactive ball games. Take turns hitting the ball at the interactive tiles – who’ll be the first to finish? Make new holiday friends and, above all, have lots of fun!
